PEPTAS supplies custom-synthesized peptides, recurring volume requirements and identified materials from a small held inventory under written quotation. The specification stated in the order records the material or sequence, purity target, quantity and format; requested analysis and documentation are confirmed in the quotation.
Chemistry scope
Chemistry requirements are requestable for technical review. The quotation confirms whether the requested route can be accepted for the stated sequence, structural requirements, quantity, purity target and final format.
A chemistry label alone is not the specification. Sequence composition, terminal state, linkage requirements, residue constraints, counterion preference, purity target, order scale and requested format can all affect whether a request can be quoted.

Requestable modifications
Modifications are submitted for technical review before quotation. No individual modification is stated here as generally available.
A modification is described by its structural, charge, mass, solubility, hydrophobicity, chromatographic or analytical consequence. It is not described by a use or by a biological outcome.
Multiple modifications in one sequence form a combined requirement and remain subject to technical review. The quotation records the accepted modification names and positions so that the requested material is unambiguous. A modification name does not establish compatibility with every sequence, ordering range or purity target.
Order scale
Order scale is stated as an ordering range, not as output capacity. Scale is confirmed per project and stated in the quotation.
Total quantity and pack format are separate specification fields. The request states total quantity, unit, pack format, aliquoting requirements and whether the requirement is one-time or recurring. The quotation records the accepted quantity and format for that order.
For recurring supply, call-off quantities and an aggregate forecast may be stated when those terms are agreed in writing. No lower bound, upper bound or minimum quantity is inferred from an earlier order.
Purity
Purity targets are stated with the analytical method used to report them and are confirmed for the order in the quotation.
An HPLC area percentage is method-specific. It is not peptide content, absolute mass purity, potency, sterility or endotoxin status.
The target stated in a request and the value reported for a batch are different objects. The first is a requested acceptance parameter. The second is a value generated under stated method conditions. Additional compositional measurements, where required, must be requested separately and are not inferred from chromatographic area percentage.
Purity wording remains method-linked throughout the quotation and documentation. A percentage without its reporting basis is incomplete and is not used as a standalone specification.
Analytical scope
Analytical scope consists of analyses that can be requested and are confirmed in the quotation. This page does not attribute analytical work to PEPTAS.
Each analytical requirement identifies the question to be answered, the requested reporting basis and any acceptance parameter that must appear in the order. For every accepted analytical requirement, the quotation confirms what can be requested and what documentation is available for the material and batch.
A method name is not a blanket commitment detached from the material, batch and order. Method conditions, reporting basis, sample identity and batch applicability are read from the issued document, not inferred from the name of an analysis. One analytical value does not substitute for another. Identity information does not establish composition, and chromatographic area percentage does not establish absolute mass purity.

The documents associated with a material, a batch and a written quotation are separate objects.

These objects have different scopes. An identity record describes the material. An analytical document applies to the material and batch it identifies. A written quotation records what is accepted for the particular order. One object does not substitute for another.
Analytical documentation available for the material and batch is confirmed in the quotation. The requesting organization states the documents it requires. The quotation confirms what is available before written acceptance. No certificate or safety data sheet is assumed from the existence of a material page or from a general capability statement.

How PEPTAS is structured
Synthesis, analytical testing and batch release are carried out by the production facility under contract. PEPTAS specifies each order, receives the release documentation and supplies under its own name and terms.
Request review, declined categories and third-party rights
Request review.
Each complete request is reviewed before a quotation is issued. For custom synthesis, technical feasibility is confirmed through the contracted production facility before PEPTAS issues a quotation. PEPTAS separately reviews whether the request is consistent with its laboratory-research supply scope.
What we decline.
PEPTAS supplies laboratory research materials only, and declines requests where the material, quantity, destination, end user or stated use is inconsistent with that scope — including requests for human or veterinary use, for clinical, diagnostic or compounding use, or for incorporation into any product intended for human or animal use. PEPTAS does not accept an order in which the material is represented, specified or intended for use as an active pharmaceutical ingredient. Requests for resale or onward transfer outside the end user and destination identified in the accepted quotation are outside that scope and are declined. PEPTAS may decline any request without stating a reason.
Third-party rights.
PEPTAS may decline, suspend or cancel a request where information available to it indicates a material risk of infringement of a third-party right in Hong Kong or the destination territory. PEPTAS does not knowingly accept a request where its recorded material-and-territory review identifies a third-party-rights risk that has not been resolved, and may require evidence of a licence, authorization or another lawful basis. Request review is not a non-infringement opinion for the requester. A request framed by a third-party mark, originator product name or development code is not accepted as a sufficient material identity; PEPTAS may require a non-proprietary chemical identity and evidence of the requester's authority before deciding whether to proceed.
How to order
Every material, whether held or made to order, is supplied under a written quotation. An order is formed on written acceptance of that quotation.
Prices are quoted in writing. Quantity, pack format, documentation and destination all affect the price, and each complete request is reviewed before a quotation is issued.
