PEPTAS

Custom Peptide Synthesis

Solid-phase synthesis resin swelling in a glass reaction vessel

From sequence to written quotation.

PEPTAS coordinates accepted custom peptide synthesis requests under written quotation.

Synthesis, analytical testing and batch release are carried out by the production facility under contract. PEPTAS specifies each order, receives the release documentation and supplies under its own name and terms.

What a complete request contains

These are the details that let a request be reviewed. Send what the laboratory already has; anything missing is asked for before a quotation is issued.

Request field What it states
Material or sequence A sequence, an identified material or an internal project reference defines the request.
Quantity and unit The total requirement and the unit it is stated in remove ambiguity.
Target purity The requested target and its reporting basis frame the purity requirement.
Modifications Each requested modification is stated with its position and its form.
Format and packaging Physical form, packaging, aliquoting and labelling define presentation.
Documentation and destination The documents the laboratory needs and the destination complete the review context.

A field left open is not a refusal to quote. It is a question PEPTAS asks before a quotation is issued.

How a project runs

  1. 1

    Submit

The request states the sequence or project reference, quantity, purity target, modifications, format, documentation needs and destination.

  2. 2

    Review

For custom synthesis, technical feasibility is confirmed through the contracted production facility before PEPTAS issues a quotation.

  3. 3

    Confirm

The written quotation states the specification, timing, delivery basis, named destination and quotation validity. It records PEPTAS’s decision for that request; it does not determine import law.

  4. 4

    Proceed

Following written acceptance, the order proceeds against the specification and terms stated in the quotation.

How purity and identity are reported

Where the quotation confirms analytical documentation, the document issued by the named laboratory states the method and reported value for the identified material and batch.

An HPLC area percentage is method-specific and is not peptide content, absolute mass purity, potency, sterility or endotoxin status.

Analytical documentation available for the material and batch is confirmed in the quotation. Documentation available for an order describes the analytical documentation associated with a material and batch.

Handling sequence and project information.

Sequences and project details are used to assess and administer the request and any resulting order. They may be disclosed to the production facility engaged for the work and to service providers and professional advisers who need the information for those purposes and are subject to applicable confidentiality obligations. PEPTAS may retain or disclose information where reasonably required to establish, exercise or defend legal rights, comply with law or a court order, or respond to a lawful request or direction from Customs, a regulator or another competent authority.

A non-disclosure agreement may be agreed in writing before further confidential information is shared; if a sequence is confidential, submit an internal project reference and ask for the NDA first — a web form is not a substitute for an executed agreement. No non-disclosure agreement applies unless and until it has been executed by both parties.

Send only what a feasibility review needs. Please do not submit patient information, medical records, payment-card numbers, credentials, private keys or unrelated personal data through this site.

Request review, declined categories and third-party rights

Request review.

Each complete request is reviewed before a quotation is issued. For custom synthesis, technical feasibility is confirmed through the contracted production facility before PEPTAS issues a quotation. PEPTAS separately reviews whether the request is consistent with its laboratory-research supply scope.

What we decline.

PEPTAS supplies laboratory research materials only, and declines requests where the material, quantity, destination, end user or stated use is inconsistent with that scope — including requests for human or veterinary use, for clinical, diagnostic or compounding use, or for incorporation into any product intended for human or animal use. PEPTAS does not accept an order in which the material is represented, specified or intended for use as an active pharmaceutical ingredient. Requests for resale or onward transfer outside the end user and destination identified in the accepted quotation are outside that scope and are declined. PEPTAS may decline any request without stating a reason.

Third-party rights.

PEPTAS may decline, suspend or cancel a request where information available to it indicates a material risk of infringement of a third-party right in Hong Kong or the destination territory. PEPTAS does not knowingly accept a request where its recorded material-and-territory review identifies a third-party-rights risk that has not been resolved, and may require evidence of a licence, authorization or another lawful basis. Request review is not a non-infringement opinion for the requester. A request framed by a third-party mark, originator product name or development code is not accepted as a sufficient material identity; PEPTAS may require a non-proprietary chemical identity and evidence of the requester's authority before deciding whether to proceed.

Sequence review.

Sequence requests are subject to the request review stated above before a quotation is issued. PEPTAS may decline a sequence request where the material, destination or stated context is outside its published scope or the review cannot be resolved.

Scheduling.

When a form submission is successfully received, the system sends an acknowledgement carrying the request reference. The acknowledgement is not an order, a quotation or an acceptance. After review, PEPTAS may issue a written quotation, request further information or decline the request. Delivery timing is not quoted before review: it is fixed in the written quotation, together with the specification, price, documentation and delivery basis.

Scope

This page describes the custom-synthesis request and quotation path. The Disclaimer states the scope and the limitations that apply to a request and to any order that follows it.

Feasibility request

A request records the project reference, quantity, purity target, modifications, format, documentation needs and destination. Submission creates a request for review only. Website content and a submitted request are not a quotation or a commitment to supply. A written quotation may be issued after review.

Prices are quoted in writing. Quantity, pack format, documentation and destination all affect the price, and each complete request is reviewed before a quotation is issued.

Questions

How is feasibility confirmed?

Through the contracted production facility, as stated under Request review above. A submitted request is not a commitment to proceed.

How is confidential information handled?

The confidentiality block above governs sequence and project details. An executed non-disclosure agreement governs the information it covers.

What does a written quotation contain?

It states the specification, quantity, format, timing, delivery basis, the named destination, quotation validity and the commercial terms. It states whether PEPTAS is prepared to proceed to that destination on the information available at the review date; it does not determine import law. Analytical documentation available for the material and batch is confirmed in the quotation.

What happens when a request is incomplete?

PEPTAS asks for the specific missing information before a quotation is issued.

Is a sequence required at first contact?

No. An internal project reference is sufficient until a non-disclosure agreement is executed.

How are modifications handled?

Requested modifications are submitted for technical review. The written quotation records the modifications included in the order. No individual modification is stated here as generally available.
