Products and permitted use
What are Peptas Products sold for?
Products identified as research materials are sold only for lawful laboratory research. They are not for human or veterinary use, consumption, administration, diagnosis, treatment, prevention, compounding, food, supplements, cosmetics, or household use.
Can you provide dosing, injection, reconstitution-for-administration, or cycle advice?
No. Peptas does not provide medical, dosing, injection, administration, compounding, treatment, or self-experimentation guidance. Laboratory preparation questions can be discussed only in the context of a lawful research protocol and documented Product specifications.
Who may order?
Customers must be at least 21 years old, have legal capacity and authority, and act for a legitimate professional or institutional purpose. We may request identity, business, institutional, end-use, destination, licence, or consignee information before accepting an order.
Are the Products approved medicines?
No, unless a Product page expressly states otherwise with supporting authorization. Research-use Products should not be treated as medicines, foods, dietary supplements, cosmetics, diagnostics, or veterinary products.
Quality and certificates
Are Products third-party tested?
Where a Product or batch is described as third-party tested, an analytical report should be available from a laboratory independent of the seller or manufacturer for that batch. Some documentation may instead come from a manufacturer or internal process, and it should be identified accurately.
What does 99% purity mean?
When stated, it ordinarily refers to the chromatographic result and method shown on the applicable certificate. It does not mean absolute mass purity, sterility, endotoxin-free status, pharmaceutical grade, biological potency, or fitness for administration.
Can I request a certificate of analysis?
Yes. Email [email protected] with the Product and, if you already received it, the lot number. Review a certificate before ordering if it is essential to your quality requirements.
Why is the lyophilized material difficult to see?
Small quantities can form a thin film or cake and may adhere to the vial wall or stopper. Appearance alone cannot establish quantity. Do not open or manipulate a Product to investigate a claim before contacting us, because doing so can compromise chain of custody.
Storage and handling
How should Products be stored?
Follow the label, certificate, and Product-specific instructions. For some unopened lyophilized research materials, approximately -20 degrees Celsius may be recommended for longer-term storage, protected from moisture and repeated temperature changes. This is not universal. Qualified laboratory personnel must determine protocol-specific conditions.
Does a warm parcel mean the Product is defective?
Not necessarily. Some lyophilized materials tolerate ordinary transit, while others need controlled conditions. The accepted shipping specification and available stability information control. Report unusual delay, damaged packaging, or a triggered temperature indicator promptly.
Can Products be handled at home?
No. Research materials should be handled in a suitable professional laboratory with trained personnel, access controls, personal protective equipment, containment, spill response, and lawful disposal procedures.
Orders and payment
Which payment methods are accepted?
The methods available for your order are displayed at checkout or on the invoice. They may include payment cards and bank wire transfer. Cryptocurrency is accepted only if it is expressly offered and confirmed for that particular transaction.
When is an order accepted?
An automated acknowledgment only confirms receipt. A binding sale forms when Peptas sends an express acceptance or dispatch confirmation, or dispatches the Product, as explained in the Terms and Conditions of Sale.
Can I cancel an order?
Request cancellation immediately. It is possible only before processing and shipment, and only when confirmed in writing. Custom work or irreversible costs may be treated differently if disclosed and lawful. Once shipped, an order cannot be canceled.
Do you offer bulk or institutional pricing?
Availability depends on Product, quantity, destination, documentation, and inventory. Send a quotation request from an institutional email address with the Product, quantity, destination, intended lawful research context, and required documentation.
Shipping and customs
How quickly do orders ship?
Standard processing is typically one to two Hong Kong business days after cleared payment and required review. This is an estimate. Large orders, verification, permits, inventory, or public holidays can add time.
How long does delivery take?
Where lawful and offered, Hong Kong delivery is commonly one to three business days after dispatch. Eligible international standard delivery is commonly seven to fourteen business days; express is commonly three to seven. Customs and remote-area delivery are additional and estimates are not guarantees.
Who is responsible for customs clearance?
The customer or consignee is ordinarily the importer of record and must confirm admissibility, obtain permits, pay destination charges, and cooperate with customs. Peptas remains responsible for export and declaration duties placed on it by law. We do not mislabel or undervalue shipments.
What happens if customs detains or seizes a shipment?
Send us the official notice immediately. A customs event does not automatically create a refund or free reshipment. The outcome depends on the cause, permits, each party’s duties, insurance, recoverability, the sale terms, and mandatory law.
Damage, returns, and refunds
Can I return a Product?
Sales are generally final because storage, authenticity, and chain of custody cannot be verified after delivery. Do not return research material without written authorization. Mandatory rights for an incorrect, damaged, or materially nonconforming Product remain available.
What if my parcel is damaged or an item is missing?
Contact us within 48 hours after recorded delivery. Preserve the parcel, shipping label, internal packaging, seals, and Product. Send the order number and clear photographs. Do not use a compromised item.
What if my experiment did not produce the expected result?
An experimental outcome alone does not establish nonconformity. Results depend on protocol, solvent, concentration, storage, controls, equipment, biological variation, and handling. A quality claim should identify an express batch specification and include scientifically appropriate evidence.
Privacy and support
Do I need to accept marketing to order?
No. Marketing consent is optional. Service messages about an order, security, safety, compliance, or a material policy change may still be sent when needed.
How do I make a privacy request?
Follow the formal request instructions in the Privacy Policy. Identify your relationship to Peptas and the specific access, correction, deletion, objection, or marketing request. Do not send unnecessary identity documents until a secure verification method is provided.
How do I contact Peptas?
Email [email protected]. Include the order number for transaction questions and the Product and lot number for certificate or quality questions. Email is not monitored as an emergency service.
