Introduction
Welcome to our online shop (the “Site”), which is operated from Hong Kong and sells research chemicals (peptides) exclusively for export (no sales are made in Hong Kong). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal data when you visit our Site or make a purchase. We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with all applicable data protection laws, including the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), and Hong Kong’s Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (“PDPO”).
By accessing or using our Site, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Policy, please do not use the Site. This Privacy Policy forms part of and is governed by our Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”).
Data Collection
We collect various types of information from you to provide and improve our services. This includes information you provide directly, information collected automatically, and information from third parties. The types of data we collect and the purposes for which we collect it are described below:
• Personal Identification and Contact Data: When you create an account, place an order, or contact us, we may collect personal information such as your name, email address, billing and shipping address, telephone number, and company name (if applicable). We use this information to identify you, communicate with you about your orders or inquiries, and to fulfill your orders (e.g., shipping your products).
• Account Information: If our Site allows account registration, we will collect login credentials (such as username and password). This is used to maintain your account and allow you to securely access order history and saved preferences. Passwords are stored in an encrypted format and are not visible to us.
• Transaction and Payment Data: When you make a purchase, we collect information necessary to process the transaction, such as the products ordered, order number, and date of purchase. Payment details (e.g., credit card numbers or payment account details) are collected only as needed to process your payment. We rely on accredited third-party payment processors to handle your payment information securely, so we do not store full payment card details on our servers (only minimal information like the last four digits or transaction IDs may be retained for record-keeping).
• Technical and Usage Data: When you use our Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device and how you interact with our Site. This may include your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and the dates/times of access. We collect this data through server logs and analytics tools to help diagnose technical issues, administer the Site, analyze trends, and improve the user experience. We may also collect location information (such as country or region) based on your IP address for fraud prevention and to ensure compliance with export restrictions.
• Cookies and Tracking Data: As described in the Cookies and Tracking Technologies section below, we use cookies and similar tracking technologies to collect information about your browsing actions and preferences. This helps us remember your settings, keep items in your shopping cart, analyze site traffic, and personalize content for you.
• Communication Data: If you communicate with us via email, contact form, or live chat, we may collect your name, email address, and the contents of your communication. We use this information to respond to you and keep records of our correspondence (for example, support requests or order questions).
• Third-Party Sources: We may receive information about you from third parties in certain cases. For example, if a shipping carrier or customs agent requires additional details for delivery, they may provide us with updates on your shipment status. Also, if you engage with our social media pages or log in via a third-party account (if available), those third parties may share basic profile information with us as authorized by you.
We collect and process the above information only for purposes which are justified under applicable law. In general, we will only collect personal data that is necessary for us to provide our services or comply with legal obligations, and we will do so by fair and lawful means.
How We Use Your Information
We use the collected personal data for the following purposes:
• To Process Orders and Provide Services: We use personal and transactional information to process your orders, arrange for shipping and delivery, process payments, provide order confirmations and invoices, and manage returns or refunds.
• To Communicate with You: We use your contact information (like email and phone number) to send you important notices about your orders and account, such as order confirmations, shipping notifications, customer support responses, and any service updates. We may also send you information about new products or promotions, but only in accordance with your marketing preferences (see Marketing Communications below).
• For Marketing Communications (With Consent): With your consent where required, we may use your email or other contact details to send newsletters, promotional offers, or updates about our research chemical products. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the message or contacting us directly. We will not send you marketing communications if you have opted out or if it is prohibited by applicable law.
• To Improve Our Site and Services: Technical and usage data (including cookies and analytics data) help us understand how users navigate our Site, which pages or products are most popular, and where improvements are needed. We analyze this data to optimize site performance, user interface, and the overall customer experience. This data is typically aggregated and does not directly identify individual users.
• To Personalize User Experience: We may use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences (such as language or currency selection) and provide you with a more tailored experience. For example, we might remember items left in your shopping cart or display content that may be relevant based on your browsing history.
• For Security and Fraud Prevention: We process personal data (especially technical data and certain contact data) to protect the security of our Site, our business, and our customers. This includes verifying identities for account access, detecting and preventing fraud or other unauthorized activities (such as fraudulent transactions or misuse of our Site), and debugging to identify and fix errors that may affect how the Site operates.
• To Comply with Legal Obligations: In some cases, we are required by law to collect and use certain information. For example, we may retain transaction records for tax reporting and accounting purposes, or collect information to comply with export control regulations (since our products are shipped internationally). We also may use and disclose personal data in response to lawful requests by public authorities or to meet national security or law enforcement requirements, or to comply with a subpoena, court order, or similar legal process.
• To Enforce Our Terms and Protect Our Rights: We may use personal data to enforce our Terms and Conditions and other agreements, to investigate potential violations, and to protect the rights, property, and safety of our company, our users, or others. This includes using information in connection with legal claims, compliance audits, and other risk management purposes.
• Other Purposes (with Notice): If we intend to use your personal data for any purpose not listed above, we will provide specific notice at the time of collection or before using the data, and obtain your consent when required by law.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our Site uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to distinguish you from other users and to improve your browsing experience. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your browser or device by websites, applications, or advertisements. We use the following types of cookies and tracking technologies:
• Essential Cookies: These cookies are necessary for the proper functioning of the Site. They enable core features such as user login, shopping cart functionality, and secure checkout. Without these cookies, certain services you request (like adding items to your cart or completing an order) cannot be provided. Because they are essential, these cookies are generally placed without requiring user consent.
• Analytics and Performance Cookies: We use analytics services (for example, Google Analytics) that employ cookies and similar technologies to collect information about how users interact with our Site. This information includes pages visited, time spent on pages, links clicked, and other usage statistics. We use this data to understand user behavior on our Site, measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns, and improve our website design and functionality. The data collected by these cookies is aggregated and anonymized; it does not directly identify you. However, if you wish to opt out of Google Analytics tracking, Google provides a browser add-on for opting out, or you can adjust your browser settings to block these cookies.
• Functional Cookies: These cookies remember choices you make and preferences (such as your preferred language, currency, or region). They personalize your experience by providing enhanced features and content tailored to you. For instance, functional cookies may remember your login details or preserve your shopping cart between sessions. While not strictly necessary, these cookies enhance your user experience. You can disable them via your browser settings, but some preferences might not be saved as a result.
• Advertising and Tracking Pixels: Our Site might use pixels or tags from third-party advertising platforms (such as Google Ads or social media networks) to measure the effectiveness of our ads and to deliver relevant advertisements on other websites. These pixels track when you visit our Site and allow us to later show you advertisements related to our products (a practice known as re-targeting). We only engage in such advertising practices in jurisdictions where it is permitted by law. You can usually opt out of targeted advertising through the third-party ad platform (for example, by adjusting your Google ad settings or using browser tools to block tracking).
• Third-Party Cookies: In addition to our own cookies, we may allow third-party service providers to set cookies on your device when you visit our Site. For example, our payment processor or live chat support tool might set a cookie to facilitate their services on our Site. We do not have control over third-party cookies, which are governed by the privacy policies of those third parties.
Cookie Consent & Control: When you first visit our Site, you may see a cookie notice or banner that informs you about our use of cookies and asks for your consent for non-essential cookies (in compliance with applicable laws, such as the GDPR). You have the right to accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most web browsers allow you to block or delete cookies; however, please note that if you disable all cookies, some features of our Site may not function properly. For more information on how to manage cookies, refer to your browser’s help documentation.
We honor any rights you have to opt out of cookie-based tracking under applicable law. For example, if you are in California and have set your browser to send a Do-Not-Track (DNT) signal, please note that our Site does not currently respond to DNT signals due to the lack of an industry standard; however, we do not use your data in a way that would be considered a “sale” under CCPA without your consent (see Your Rights and Choices below for more on CCPA choices).
Third-Party Sharing and Disclosure of Data
We treat your personal data with care and confidentiality. We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes. However, we do share certain information with third parties in the following circumstances, in order to run our business and provide services to you:
• Service Providers and Partners: We share data with trusted third-party service providers who perform functions on our behalf and under our instructions. For example:
• Payment Processors: A third-party payment gateway (such as a credit card processor or PayPal) will receive your payment details to process payments securely. These processors are PCI-DSS compliant and authorized to handle your financial information.
• Shipping and Logistics Companies: We provide your name, shipping address, and contact phone/email to shipping carriers or freight companies to deliver the products you ordered. They use this information only for delivery and customs clearance if required.
• Website Hosting and IT Providers: Our website is hosted on servers provided by third-party hosting companies. These providers may process and store personal data on our behalf as part of providing infrastructure and platform services. We ensure they implement robust security measures.
• Analytics Providers: We use third-party analytics (e.g., Google Analytics) to collect usage data. These providers process usage data (which may include IP addresses and cookie identifiers) for the purpose of analytics on our behalf. We have data processing agreements in place with such providers to protect your information.
• Marketing and Email Services: If we send out newsletters or marketing emails, we may use an email delivery service (for instance, MailChimp, SendGrid, or similar) which will handle your email address and name to send those communications. Such providers are contractually obligated to keep your information secure and only use it for sending emails on our behalf.
• Customer Support Tools: If we utilize a customer support ticketing system or live chat provider, that platform may process any personal data you provide during a support inquiry (such as your email or order number and the content of your question).
• Affiliates and Corporate Transactions: We may share information with our parent company, subsidiaries, or affiliates (if any) as part of our regular business operations and for any of the purposes stated in this Policy. Additionally, if our company is involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, joint venture, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or other similar business transaction, your information may be transferred to another company as part of that transaction. In such cases, we will ensure the successor entity honors the commitments in this Privacy Policy or provide notice and options to the affected users.
• Legal Compliance and Protection: We may disclose personal data when we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request. This includes providing information in response to lawful requests by public authorities (for example, to meet national security or law enforcement requirements), responding to court orders or subpoenas, or cooperating with regulatory authorities. We may also disclose personal data to enforce our Terms and other agreements, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our company, our customers, or others. For instance, we might share information with law enforcement or fraud prevention agencies to reduce credit card fraud or investigate potential illegal activities related to our Site.
• With Your Consent: Apart from the cases listed above, if we wish to share your information with third parties for purposes not covered by this Privacy Policy (such as featuring a customer testimonial on our partner’s site or integrating a new service), we will inform you and obtain your explicit consent before doing so. You have the right to decline such sharing.
Whenever we share your data with third-party service providers, we contractually require them to protect your personal information through appropriate confidentiality and security measures and to use it only for the provision of services to us (and not for their own purposes).
Please note that our Site may contain links to third-party websites or integrations with third-party services (for example, processing payment via a payment provider’s widget). If you click on a third-party link or use an integrated service, you will be directed to that third party’s site or service. This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites or services, and we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of any third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of every website you visit or third-party service you use.
Data Storage and Security
We take reasonable and appropriate measures to secure your personal data and protect it from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Below is how we handle data storage and security:
• Data Hosting Location: The personal data we collect is stored on secure servers operated by our third-party hosting provider. These servers may be located in Hong Kong or in other jurisdictions (such as data centers in the United States or the European Union). Regardless of where the data is stored, we ensure that your personal information is afforded a high level of protection. If you are located outside of the hosting country, please be aware that your information will be transferred to and stored in that country, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence. However, our practices will remain governed by this Privacy Policy and the applicable privacy laws mentioned.
• Security Measures: We implement a variety of technical and organizational security measures to safeguard your data. This includes using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology to protect data transmission on our Site (for example, when you enter personal information or payment details, that information is encrypted in transit). Our databases and servers are protected by firewalls, encryption, and access controls. We limit access to personal data to authorized personnel and contractors who need to know that information to operate, develop, or improve our services, and these parties are subject to strict confidentiality obligations.
• Payment Security: Any payment transactions are processed through PCI-DSS compliant gateways. We do not store sensitive payment card details on our systems post-transaction; any stored payment tokens or references are secured. We follow industry standards and best practices for information security to prevent unauthorized access to financial data.
• Retention of Data: We will retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. For instance, we may retain your account information and order history while your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter in case you decide to resume purchases, or as needed to comply with our legal obligations (such as maintaining records for tax and customs purposes), resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When personal data is no longer needed, we will securely erase, anonymize, or otherwise dispose of it in accordance with our data retention policies.
• International Data Transfers: As an international business, we may transfer and store personal data across national borders. If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or another region with data transfer restrictions, be aware that when we transfer your personal data to a country that is not deemed “adequate” by your local regulators (for example, transferring EU personal data to Hong Kong or the United States), we will implement appropriate safeguards to ensure your personal data remains protected. This may include using standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, relying on the PDPO and related regulations in Hong Kong which impose strict data protection obligations, or obtaining your explicit consent where permitted. By using our Site or submitting your information to us, you understand that your personal data may be transferred to our facilities and those third parties with whom we share it as described in this Policy.
• Security Incident Response: While we strive to protect your data, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law (for example, under GDPR we would notify the appropriate supervisory authority within 72 hours, and under PDPO we would follow the guidance of the Privacy Commissioner in Hong Kong for notifying affected individuals if the breach poses a significant risk).
• Your Responsibilities: You play an important role in keeping your personal data secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account and to log out when using any shared devices. Please notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. We will not be liable for any losses caused by unauthorized access to your personal data due to any breach of security that is beyond our reasonable control.
Your Rights and Choices
We respect your rights regarding your personal data. Depending on your jurisdiction and the applicable law, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding the personal data we hold about you. We extend these rights to all users where feasible, and we specifically ensure compliance with GDPR for individuals in the European Union/EEA, with the CCPA for California residents, and with PDPO for data subjects under Hong Kong law:
• Right to Access: You have the right to request confirmation of whether we are processing your personal data, and if so, to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. We will provide you with a copy of your information in a commonly used electronic format, unless otherwise required by law. (Under PDPO in Hong Kong, this is known as a “data access request”.)
• Right to Rectification (Correction): If any of your personal data we have is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to request that we correct or update it. This ensures that we are using accurate information about you. (Under PDPO, you can make a “data correction request” for the same purpose.)
• Right to Erasure (“Right to be Forgotten”): You may have the right to request that we delete or anonymize your personal data. For example, if the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, you withdraw consent (where the processing was based on consent), or you object to our processing (see below) and we have no overriding legitimate grounds to continue, we will delete or anonymize your data upon request. Please note that this right is subject to certain exceptions. For instance, we may retain information if required for legal obligations or legitimate business purposes (e.g., we might retain transaction records for accounting, or if we need to keep certain information to comply with a court order or regulatory requirement). We will inform you of any specific reason if we cannot comply with a deletion request.
• Right to Restrict Processing: You have the right to request that we limit the processing of your personal data under certain circumstances. For example, if you contest the accuracy of the data, or if you have objected to our processing and we are considering your request, or if processing is unlawful and you prefer restriction to deletion. When processing is restricted, we will store your data but not use it further until the issue is resolved (we will inform you when the restriction is lifted).
• Right to Object: You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data in certain situations. In particular, if we are processing your data based on our legitimate interests, you can object to that processing and we will re-evaluate your request. If your data is being used for direct marketing, you have an absolute right to object to (opt out of) direct marketing at any time. This includes objecting to profiling related to direct marketing. If you opt out, we will stop using your personal data for marketing purposes.
• Right to Data Portability: For data that you have provided to us and that we process by automated means on the legal basis of consent or to perform a contract with you, you have the right to request a copy of such data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and you have the right to transmit that data to another controller (or to have us transfer it, when technically feasible). This right is provided by GDPR for EU/EEA users.
• Right to Withdraw Consent: In cases where we rely on your consent to process personal data (for example, for sending marketing emails), you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing we conducted prior to withdrawal, and it does not affect processing that is based on other legal grounds (such as fulfilling a contract or complying with a legal obligation). If you withdraw consent for marketing communications, we will stop sending you marketing emails or texts, but may still contact you regarding your orders or any service-related matters.
• California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA): If you are a California resident, you have specific privacy rights under the CCPA (as amended by the CPRA). These include:
• Right to Know: You can request that we disclose to you (a) the categories of personal information we have collected about you, (b) the categories of sources of that information, (c) the business or commercial purpose for collecting (or sharing) the information, (d) the categories of third parties with whom we share personal information, and (e) the specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you over the past 12 months.
• Right to Delete: You can request that we delete any personal information about you that we collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions (such as if the information is needed to complete a transaction, detect security incidents, exercise free speech, comply with legal obligations, etc., as permitted by the CCPA).
• Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing: The CCPA gives you the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information (as defined under CCPA) or the sharing of your information for cross-context behavioral advertising. However, we do not sell your personal information for money. If we ever engage in activities that could be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under California law (for instance, allowing certain third-party advertising cookies), we will provide a clear way for you to opt out, such as a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link on our Site. In any case, you can always contact us to inquire about or exercise this right.
• Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. This means we will not deny you goods or services, charge you a different price, or provide a different level or quality of service just because you exercised your rights under CCPA. (However, note that if the exercise of your rights limits our ability to process information—for example, if you request deletion of your account data—we may not be able to provide you with certain services that rely on that information. We will inform you if such a situation arises.)
• Sensitive Personal Information: If we collect any information considered “sensitive personal information” under California law (e.g., precise geolocation, health or genetic data, etc.), we will only use or disclose it for necessary business purposes or other purposes authorized by the CCPA. California residents have the right to direct us to limit the use of any sensitive personal information to only those purposes allowed by law. (Generally, we do not collect sensitive personal information from customers except as strictly needed to provide services, if at all.)
• Exercising Your Rights: To exercise any of your rights described above or to ask questions about your rights, please contact us using the information provided in the Contact Us section below. Specifically, for data access or deletion requests, you can email us with the subject line “Data Access Request” or “Data Deletion Request” (or similar) and include your name, contact information, and a description of your request. California residents who wish to exercise CCPA rights should indicate that their request is a “California Privacy Rights Request.” We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests, to ensure that we do not disclose or delete data to the wrong person. Verification may involve confirming information we already have on file or asking for additional information as required by law. We do not normally charge a fee for processing your requests. However, if your request is excessive or manifestly unfounded, we reserve the right to charge a reasonable fee or refuse to act on it, as permitted by applicable law. (For example, Hong Kong’s PDPO allows charging a nominal fee for processing a Data Access Request.) We will notify you in advance if a fee or refusal applies in such a case.
• Response Time: We will respond to your request within the timeframes required by law. Under GDPR/PDPO, we generally aim to respond within 30 days of receiving a valid request (with the possibility to extend by an additional 30 days in certain circumstances, in which case we will inform you of the delay). Under CCPA, we will respond to verifiable consumer requests within 45 days, with the possibility of a single 45-day extension when reasonably necessary. If we need more time or cannot fulfill your request (due to a legal exception), we will let you know the reason.
• Complaints: If you believe we have infringed your privacy rights or disagree with how we have handled your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the appropriate authority. EU/EEA individuals can file a complaint with their local Data Protection Authority (DPA) in the country where they live or work, or where the issue occurred. Hong Kong individuals can file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (PCPD) in Hong Kong. California residents can contact the California Privacy Protection Agency or the state Attorney General. Of course, we welcome you to contact us first to resolve any issue directly, and we will do our utmost to address your concerns.
Please note that these rights may be subject to certain conditions and limitations under applicable law. We will explain in our response if any exception applies—for example, if we cannot delete data that we are required to keep by law, or if fulfilling a certain request would adversely affect the rights and freedoms of others.
International Users and Legal Compliance
Although our business is based in Hong Kong and Hong Kong law is our primary governing law, we also strive to comply with other privacy laws that apply to us by virtue of offering our services internationally:
• We adhere to the PDPO (Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance) as a Hong Kong data user. This means we follow the six Data Protection Principles of the PDPO regarding the collection, accuracy, use, security, transparency, and access/correction of personal data. We ensure that we collect data lawfully and fairly, use it only for purposes notified, keep it secure, and honor data access and correction requests from individuals. We have appointed a privacy officer to oversee PDPO compliance and handle inquiries or complaints.
• For users in the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA), or United Kingdom, if and when the GDPR (or UK GDPR) applies, we act as the “data controller” of your personal data. We have implemented measures to comply with the GDPR, such as applying appropriate legal bases for processing (e.g., processing your data as necessary for the performance of a contract with you — like fulfilling your orders — or based on your consent for optional uses like marketing, or based on our legitimate interests for improving services), honoring the rights described above, and safeguarding data when it is transferred outside the EEA. If required by law, we will appoint an EU representative or Data Protection Officer and provide their contact details.
• For California residents, we handle personal information in accordance with the CCPA (as amended by CPRA). We do not sell personal information, and we provide the disclosures and options required by California law. This Privacy Policy is intended to serve as our “California Notice at Collection” and “California Privacy Policy,” detailing the categories of personal information collected, the purposes, the categories of sources, and the categories of third parties with whom information is shared. We will update our practices as needed to remain compliant with California law.
• We also intend for this Policy to substantially comply with other major privacy frameworks globally. If you are in another jurisdiction (for example, Canada, Australia, Singapore, etc.), we will respect any additional rights you have under applicable laws (such as Canada’s PIPEDA or Australia’s Privacy Act) to the extent those laws apply to our processing of your data. Where there are differences, we will always act in accordance with the strictest applicable standard to ensure your data is protected.
Children’s Privacy
Our products and services are not directed to children or minors. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18 (or the applicable age of majority in your jurisdiction). If you are under 18, please do not use this Site or provide any personal information to us. In the event we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under 18 without proper consent, we will promptly take steps to delete that information from our records. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so that we can investigate and address the issue.
Jurisdiction and Governing Law
This Privacy Policy, its subject matter, and its formation are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (“Hong Kong”), without regard to conflict of law principles. By using our Site or providing us with your information, you acknowledge and agree that any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this Privacy Policy (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
If you are accessing the Site from outside Hong Kong, please be aware that any information you provide will be handled in accordance with Hong Kong law and this Privacy Policy. We make no representations that this Privacy Policy or our data handling practices comply with the laws of every jurisdiction, though we do our best to meet widely accepted privacy principles.
No Waiver of Rights: Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to limit your rights under the privacy laws that apply to you. In the event of any inconsistency between this Privacy Policy and applicable law, the applicable law will prevail. Your statutory privacy rights (for example, under GDPR or CCPA) are not affected by any choice of law or jurisdiction clause in this Privacy Policy or our Terms.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update or revise this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. If we make material changes to this Policy, we will notify you by posting a prominent notice on our Site and/or by sending you an email notification (if we have your email on file) prior to the changes becoming effective. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this Policy indicates when the latest changes were made.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your information. Your continued use of the Site after any updates to this Policy are posted will constitute your acknowledgment of the changes and your agreement to be bound by the updated Policy. If you do not agree with the changes, you should discontinue use of our Site and services, and you may request that we delete your personal data per your rights described above.
